Terms & Conditions
As of: 7 October 2026
Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts between MEG, Inh. Bernhard A. Knop e. K. (hereinafter “InfiniVent” or “we”) and users of the InfiniVent platform (infinivent.eu), as well as to the use of the platform and its functions (hereinafter the “Platform”).
The Platform is intended for event organisers seeking event venues and for operators of event venues (hereinafter “Operators”) wishing to present their venue on the Platform.
For the purposes of these GTC, an Operator is exclusively a party acting, at the time the contract is concluded, as an entrepreneur within the meaning of § 14 BGB (a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity engaged in commercial or self-employed activity) or as another organisation (in particular an association or public-law institution). Contracts with consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB are currently not concluded on the Platform.
Any deviating terms and conditions of the Operator shall not become part of the contract, even if we do not expressly object to them.

Purpose of the Platform
InfiniVent is a platform that brings event organisers and event venues together. We display venue listings publicly, make them discoverable through search, maps and categories, and enable event organisers to submit enquiries to Operators via the Platform.
The Platform distinguishes between two types of venue listings:
a) publicly visible venue listings that have not yet been assigned to an Operator and for which no contract with an Operator exists (“unclaimed locations”),
b) venue listings assigned to a registered Operator with a paid subscription (“Operator listings”).
The mere public display of a venue listing does not establish a contract or a user relationship with the holder, operator or owner of the relevant venue. In particular, an unclaimed location does not give rise to a free contract with an Operator.
Registration and Operator Account
Registration is required to list a venue of one’s own and to use paid subscriptions. Registration takes place via the “List a venue” wizard on the Platform.
Sign-in is passwordless and uses a magic-link process: you will receive a one-time link containing a random token by email. The token is valid for 60 minutes and can only be used once; only a hash of the token is stored. After successful verification, a session token is issued, which is likewise stored only as a hash and is valid for 60 minutes. No session cookies are used.
The following information is collected as part of registration: email address, provider details (company, legal form, contact person, address, country, telephone, email, website, optional VAT ID) and venue details. Registration takes place in steps; the data entered is assigned to the provider account and the venue listing.
Registration must include consent to the Privacy Policy, these GTC and the content release; consent to AI labelling may be given optionally. Consents are stored with a timestamp and a reference to the relevant text version.
To prevent misuse, we use a honeypot field, a time check and a limit of 3 registration starts per hour and email address. A WordPress user account is created internally for technical administration; sign-in using a password is not provided.
The Operator undertakes to provide truthful and complete information during registration and to update any changes to its details promptly in the Operator account.
Venue Listings and Public Data
Operators may create and maintain venue listings via their Operator account. The number of venue listings that can be maintained simultaneously via one Operator account depends on the subscription booked (location limit) and is set out in the respective current subscription description on the Pricing page. A venue listing includes, in particular, a title, description, address, geo-coordinates, classification, capacity, prices, rooms, facilities and rules, surroundings, gallery images and the long description.
Venue listings are published only after editorial review (moderation). We are entitled to reject, defer or remove listings if they do not meet the Platform’s quality and content criteria (see section “Moderation, Suspension and Removal”).
Publicly visible data (in particular the name, description, address, images, facilities and contact details of the Operator, insofar as provided by it) serve to present the venue and enable event organisers to make contact.
Unclaimed Locations and Claiming
The Platform may contain venue listings that were not created by an Operator and are not assigned to an Operator account (“unclaimed locations”). Where such a listing is based on public data sources, its origin is identified technically.
Unclaimed locations are not a contractual service provided to an Operator and do not create any rights or obligations for an Operator. In particular, the public display of an unclaimed location does not give rise to any claim for remuneration, information or removal against a third party.
A process for an Operator to claim an unclaimed location (“Claim”) has not currently been implemented technically. If such a process is offered at a later date, it will be described separately, and the time at which the location is effectively assigned to the Operator account shall be decisive for the creation of an Operator contract. This passage is to be reviewed by legal counsel.
Operator Obligations
The Operator is solely responsible for the content it posts. It undertakes to post content that is lawful and does not violate statutory provisions, official orders, third-party rights or public decency.
In particular, the Operator undertakes not to post any content that is insulting, defamatory, discriminatory, harmful to minors or otherwise unlawful; not to infringe any third-party rights (in particular copyright, trademark, name or personality rights); and not to include misleading information about its venue.
The Operator is required to keep the information about its venue (in particular capacity, facilities, prices, availability and opening hours) current and accurate, and to respond to incoming enquiries from event organisers within a reasonable time.
Violations of Operator obligations may result in the removal of content, suspension or extraordinary termination (see sections “Moderation” and “Termination”).
Content, Images, Texts and Rights
By posting content (in particular texts, images, graphics and videos), the Operator grants us the right to store, edit, publicly display and distribute such content for the purpose of providing the Platform services. The grant is limited territorially and temporally to the duration of the contractual relationship.
The Operator warrants that it holds the necessary rights to all content it posts. When uploading images, it confirms that it holds the rights of use for those images; AI-generated images must be identified as such using the upload function.
Separate rules apply to submitting reviews: reviews are moderated before publication and stored together with consent to the referenced text version. There is no entitlement to publication of a review.
Subscriptions and Scope of Services
Four subscriptions are currently offered for Operator listings (in each case net, plus statutory VAT):
Community: 9.90 € net per month
Start: 19.90 € net per month
Professional: 29.90 € net per month
Premium: 49.90 € net per month
Each subscription is also available with annual billing; the annual price is twelve times the monthly net price (Community 118.80 €, Start 238.80 €, Professional 358.80 €, Premium 598.80 € net per year).
The specific scope of services is determined by the applicable subscription description on the Pricing page. Services described as “planned” in a subscription description do not form part of the contract.
Subscriptions are granted exclusively to entrepreneurs and other organisations within the meaning of the “Scope” section. Contracts with consumers are not technically provided for.
The number of venue listings that an Operator may maintain simultaneously via its Operator account is limited per subscription (location limit) and is set out in the respective current subscription description on the Pricing page. For Operators requiring more than fifteen venue listings, an individual agreement is envisaged.
The “Community” subscription is a regular paid subscription for Operators who operate a venue on a non-commercial or common-good basis (in particular associations, non-profit organisations, foundations, public institutions, schools and youth centres, religious institutions and comparable organisations). We review eligibility for the Community subscription on the basis of the Operator’s details; the decision on eligibility rests with us. There is no automatic entitlement to the Community subscription.
Conclusion of Contract
The display of prices on the Platform does not constitute a binding offer on our part. Orders are placed through the Operator account (“My Account”) by selecting a subscription and billing cycle, followed by the ordering process via our payment service provider.
The contract is concluded upon our confirmation of the order or upon activation of the payment. The payment process is handled through the external payment service provider Stripe; the payment is prepared server-side as a checkout session, and you are redirected to Stripe’s pages to make payment. Stripe’s terms apply there.
The contract text is not stored; the contract status is displayed in the Operator account. Conclusion of the contract is subject to successful payment. If the first payment is unsuccessful, no contract is concluded.
The service period begins when the contract is activated following successful payment (see section “Term”).
Prices and Payment Terms
All prices are net, plus the statutory VAT applicable at the time the service is provided, where applicable.
German VAT is charged on the net price for Operators established in Germany. For Operators established in another Member State of the European Union, the reverse-charge procedure applies, provided that a valid EU VAT identification number is available and has been confirmed via the official EU service VIES; in this case, no German VAT is charged. If the VAT ID cannot be confirmed, it is currently not possible to conclude a contract via the Platform. Operators established outside the European Union cannot currently book paid subscriptions.
Payment is made according to the selected billing cycle (monthly or annually) via the payment service provider Stripe. Payment data (e.g. credit card details) is processed exclusively by Stripe; we do not store any payment data, but only references and the payment status in the Operator account.
Any fees charged by the payment service provider are borne by that provider in accordance with its terms; we do not charge any separate booking fees.
Term, Minimum Term and Renewal
The Operator contract runs for an indefinite period, with a minimum term of 24 months from the start of the contract.
Ordinary termination by the Operator is excluded during the minimum term; the right to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected.
Unless the Operator terminates the contract before the end of the relevant contract term, the contract is automatically extended by successive periods of twelve months. Automatic renewal is technically provided for and can be configured by us; the specific arrangements for renewal are to be reviewed by legal counsel.
Ordinary termination by us is excluded unless there are objective grounds (in particular, discontinuation or a material change to the Platform).
Payment Default and Failed Payments
If a recurring payment is not received (failed payment), the payment status is updated accordingly in the Operator account.
In the event of significant or repeated payment issues, we are entitled to withhold Platform services for the duration of the payment default, initiate dunning procedures and refer the matter for human review. Automatic suspension, acceleration of amounts due or automatic termination in the event of payment default is not currently implemented technically; this passage is to be reviewed by legal counsel.
If the Operator is in default, it owes statutory default interest. Further statutory claims (in particular claims for damages) remain unaffected.
Venue Enquiries
Event organisers may submit enquiries to Operators via the Platform. An enquiry is not a booking, but a non-binding initial contact; a contract for the venue is concluded only through a separate agreement between the event organiser and the Operator.
Enquiries are submitted as a guest (without an account); the information provided (name, email address, optional telephone number, requested period, message) is transmitted to the Operator of the venue concerned. The Operator receives the enquiry by email and in the Operator account.
Enquiries must include consent to being contacted and to the Privacy Policy; event organisers may optionally consent to the information being forwarded to MEG Gruppe and to its being recorded as a lead. To prevent misuse, a limit of 5 enquiries per hour and IP address applies (transient, hashed).
The Operator is responsible for responding to and processing enquiries. We merely facilitate contact and are not a party to agreements concluded between event organisers and Operators.
Optional Services of MEG Gruppe
As part of an enquiry, event organisers may optionally request services from MEG Gruppe (e.g. event technology, EventShield360, EventMedia). Such an enquiry is forwarded to MEG Gruppe only if the event organiser has expressly consented to the disclosure.
The requested services of MEG Gruppe are not part of the Operator contract; where such services are agreed, they are provided on the basis of separate contracts and terms and conditions of the MEG company responsible in each case.
We are entitled to refer to services offered by MEG Gruppe on the Platform; we are under no obligation to arrange such services.
Changes and Updates to Venue Data
The Operator may change and update its venue data at any time via the Operator account. Changes are published after a further editorial review (see section “Moderation”).
We are entitled to correct obviously inaccurate or outdated information, where technically possible. We are under no obligation to review the content of information provided by the Operator.
Moderation, Suspension and Removal
Venue listings, rooms, information about the surroundings and reviews are subject to editorial review (moderation) before publication. The review is carried out exclusively by trained personnel; no automated decisions are made regarding the publication or removal of content.
We are entitled to remove content and to reject, defer or suspend listings if they violate statutory provisions, these GTC, the Platform criteria or the Operator’s obligations, or if there are indications of such a violation. Where possible, we will inform the Operator before a permanent suspension or removal, unless doing so would jeopardise the enforcement of rights or the security of the Platform.
Suspension of the Operator account or removal of listings may take effect immediately, insofar as permitted by law, if the Operator seriously or repeatedly violates these GTC or statutory provisions. The Operator has no entitlement to activation, publication or any specific placement of its content.
Availability and Technical Changes
We provide the Platform services subject to technical availability. No guarantee is given of uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance work will be announced where possible.
We are entitled to further develop, modify or discontinue the Platform and its functions, insofar as this is reasonable for the Operator. The Operator will be notified in good time of any material restrictions to existing functions. The availability and changes provision is to be reviewed by legal counsel.
We are not responsible for disruptions to the internet connection, the payment service provider or other third parties that are outside our control.
Liability
We shall be liable without limitation for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, and for damage resulting from a breach of a guarantee or a breach of contract involving a fundamental contractual obligation.
In all other respects, without prejudice to statutory liability provisions, we shall be liable only for damage resulting from a slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, and only up to the amount of the foreseeable damage typical for the contract; any further claims are excluded. The foregoing limitation of liability does not apply where mandatory statutory liability provisions (in particular product liability) apply. This liability provision is to be reviewed by legal counsel.
We give no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or currency of content posted by Operators or the availability of a venue.
Indemnification
The Operator shall indemnify us against all third-party claims arising in connection with content posted by it or its use of the Platform, including the costs of legal defence. This indemnification does not apply insofar as the relevant claims are based on conduct for which we are responsible. This indemnification clause is to be reviewed by legal counsel.
Rights to InfiniVent and Platform Content
The Platform, including its software, databases, texts, graphics, logos and other components, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. The Operator is granted no right to use the Platform beyond its use in accordance with the contract; in particular, it may not reproduce, publish, modify or distribute the Platform, or extract data from it by automated means (scraping).
The “InfiniVent” mark and the trademarks and logos of MEG Gruppe are protected. Any use outside the Platform requires our prior written consent.
Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy in its applicable version, which forms part of the contract.
Amendments to these GTC
We are entitled to amend these GTC with effect for the future, provided this is not unreasonable and the amendments are notified to the Operator before they take effect. The applicable version is published on the Platform under GTC.
If the Operator does not object to an amendment within six weeks of notification and continues to use the Platform, the amended GTC shall be deemed accepted. This deemed acceptance will be specifically highlighted in the notification. This amendment clause is to be reviewed by legal counsel.
The version of these GTC published at the time of the order shall apply upon conclusion of the contract.
Termination
The Operator may terminate the contract by ordinary notice only at the end of the minimum term, provided ordinary termination is permitted under the “Term” section. Notice of termination must be given in text form and sent to hello@infinivent.eu.
A technical self-service termination process has not currently been implemented; termination notices are processed manually upon receipt. This provision is to be reviewed by legal counsel.
The right of either party to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected, in particular in the event of serious or repeated violations of these GTC or statutory provisions. Following termination, the Operator’s content will be removed after a reasonable period, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.
Final Provisions
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. The provisions of the UN-Kaufrecht (UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods) shall not apply.
If the Operator is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the courts at our registered office shall have jurisdiction over all disputes arising from the contractual relationship. We are also entitled to bring proceedings against the Operator at its general place of jurisdiction. This jurisdiction clause is to be reviewed by legal counsel.
Should any provision of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision that most closely achieves the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
The Operator may set off claims only if its counterclaims have been established by a final judgment, are undisputed or are directly connected with the contract.
We will be happy to answer questions about these GTC at hello@infinivent.eu.
